Engineering Manager

Setting objectives, KPI’s, and performance standards and measures for maintenance team including 5 engineers and 35 technicians.
-Monitor the appropriate use of machines, and train operators on the best use of machines capabilities.
-Increasing efficiency and effectiveness of machines through reviewing quality, availability, and productivity with production and quality departments.
-Conducting Failure Mode and Effect Analysis Process (FMEA)
-Studying the effect of different raw material on machines efficiency.
-Controlling the spare parts store. Controlling issuing and receiving.
-Follow up on export/local spare parts deliveries to the plant.
-Minimizing the export spare parts usage through localization and manufacturing.
-Setting agreements with external service providers, including workshops, agencies, and expatriates.
-Assessment of machines and assist top management in the decision of purchasing new machinery or ending the service of existing machinery.
-Coordinating with production, warehouse, quality control, and purchasing for the sake of efficient running of business.
-Directing and training maintenance team.
-Ensured minimum break down times for all machines & equipments.
-Make sure tasks are performed with highest safety standards.
-Prepare a budget and assure achieving the target KPI’s within the cost, time and quality requirements.
-Manage all major engineering projects in a safe way.
-Maintenance and over hauling of the A/C units of the equipments and keep track for the performed tasks.
-Study break down statistics to minimize the break down times.
-Preparing the ISO maintenance procedure.
-Assists with hiring of maintenance personnel.

-Engineering Manager with a strong track record for more than 10 years of both technical and managerial experience gained in printing and packaging industry or a sophisticated industry near to printing, such as textile.
-Leading an engineering department with maintenance team, including both mechanical and electrical, for planning, organizing, and follow up the overall maintenance of various kinds of machines and equipments.
-Playing key role in deployment of quality systems like ISO9001, FMEA Process, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or TPM.
-Having professional experience in starting up new factories including safe transportation, major overhauling projects, setting up machines and its maintenance plan for the factory equipments plus supervising the execution of the plan.
-Having solid experience in developing preventive, predictive, and periodic maintenance plans according to manufacturer recommendations.
-Communicating professionally in both Arabic and English.
